Paragon ID appoints Ray Freeman as VP of Research & Development, Retail/IoT Technologies


New Vice President of R&D, Retail and IoT Technologies joins the team

Paragon ID is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Freeman as VP Research & Development Retail/ IoT Technologies.

Ray will drive the global product innovation and technology strategy for the company’s RFID inlays and tags portfolio for the retail/IoT sector. His responsibilities will include leading Paragon ID’s IoT R&D teams, delivering world class product innovations which will drive market growth while satisfying existing standards and certifications. 

Ray has over 25 years’ experience of working in the RFID industry. During this time, he has held R&D and product management positions at market leading companies including Gemplus, HID Global and more recently Smartrac Technology, where he was Senior Vice President Technology Commercialization and Chief Scientist. He is also actively involved with the RAIN RFID Alliance where he was on the Board of Directors for over 3 years.
