Paragon ID appoints Amy Jenks as Senior Vice President and Head of Mass Transit – Americas.

Paragon ID is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Amy Jenks as Senior Vice President and Head of Mass Transit in the Americas.

In her new role, Ms. Jenks will be responsible for developing and promoting the company's new digital smart ticketing and mobility solutions, creating new strategic partnerships as well as leading its existing business units in the region.

Paragon ID is excited to draw upon Jenks’ expertise to expand its market leadership in mobility solutions including its digital ticketing platform, mobile ticketing and open payment and associated solutions for cash management, while building upon Paragon ID’s current market leadership in smart cards and tickets. 

Ms. Jenks was previously with Scheidt & Bachmann, one of the world market leaders in innovative fare payment technology solutions. She joined the company in 2016 and last held the position of Regional Vice President, North America since 2018. Most recently in her leadership of the Western region, she was credited for securing a long term contract for a new farebox system and accompanying services for Phoenix and its metropolitan area.

Ms. Jenks’ experience along with her professional and personal commitment to the mass transit sector was also recognized in 2020 when she was named by Mass Transit Magazine as a member of their “40 under 40” class.

Paragon ID is a leader in smart ticketing solutions and has been working with clients in the US, Canada and South America for decades, providing smartcards, contactless and magnetic tickets as well as encoding and fulfilment services. Their customers include the cities of New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Vancouver, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Dallas and Montreal.  The company operates from two sites based in Burlington, VT and High Point, NC.
